Mutsuhito Omakase
About This Spot
Stepping into Mutsuhito Omakase feels like entering a quietly refined corner of Buenos Aires where time slows just enough for the careful artistry of Japanese cuisine to take center stage. The space exudes an intimate calm, inviting guests to settle in and lose themselves in the unfolding experience. Here, the pace is deliberate and unhurried—each course arrives like a thoughtful chapter in a story told through texture, temperature, and subtle umami notes.
This is not a place for a rushed meal or casual snacking. Instead, it’s an invitation to savor. The atmosphere is warm and attentive without ever feeling formal, as if you’re sharing a secret with the skilled chefs behind the counter. Serving an omakase journey that gently balances tradition and innovation, the kitchen crafts moments where familiar flavors meet unexpected nuances, offering pieces of the sea and the earth shaped with intention. It's in those small surprises and the quiet care around every bite that the meal deepens beyond simple nourishment.
While the setting feels peaceful, there is a gentle energy that hums as the evening progresses—the kind that comes from engaged diners delighting in something thoughtfully made. The experience resonates with people who appreciate the rhythm of a tasting menu crafted to honor both freshness and finesse. It’s also a space where the service quietly shines, weaving generosity into the meal without overshadowing the food’s delicate voice.
Mutsuhito Omakase is, at its heart, a destination for those curious to explore the evolving dialogue of Japanese cuisine far from its homeland, in a place where culinary craft meets heartfelt hospitality. It’s a discovery of subtle flavor layers and human moments, best experienced with company and a patient palate.

Amazing experience. Food was delicious, some were basic things you can find at any sushi spot, but the few that were unique were amazing in flavor. If you are like me and eat a lot, I would recommend eating a little bit before coming because I still left with a bit of hunger. But over all, I still give it a 5 star due to some of the amazing flavors.

I’ve visited this restaurant during my vacation in Buenos Aires. It is a great experience and had the lunch menu today (12 pieces + dessert). The food and service were amazing. I’ve got to know that there is a more special course with 17 plates for dinner. The lunch menu was so tasty and fresh that I would like to go again for dinner.

Such a great omakase place. The whole experience was wonderful. Truly rivals those from New York, San Francisco and around the world. It was about 16 courses and was so delicious.

We tried the 17 courses menu and each course was amazing. One thing I would like to suggest to the restaurant is that maybe considering using real chopsticks instead of disposable chopsticks. It will add more value of the experience. Overall, it was a great restaurant to visit in Buenos Aires!

What a fantastic dining experience. It was 12 courses and only seated 12 people. The chef prepared the food in front of us. And we all ate at the same time. Very unique dining experience with amazing flavors. Very good produce. I would highly recommend restaurant as a must do!
